The Dental Bonding Process

Dental bonding is made of a composite resin material that is colored to match your natural teeth. To place the dental bonding material, we will first need to prepare the surface of your tooth and apply a conditioning liquid that will allow the resin to secure properly. Once your tooth has been prepared, we will apply the resin in layers. Each layer is sculpted and smoothed before being hardened with a special curing light. We will repeat this process until your desired results are achieved. After the final layer has been applied and hardened, the dentist will trim, shape, and polish it to ensure a flawless appearance. The dental bonding process takes around 30 minutes per tooth.

Dr. Hillyard and Dr. Monroe are trained in dental bonding and bring a keen artistic eye to deliver results that look beautiful. They use state-of-the-art technology and the highest quality materials in order to ensure your restoration will be functional, long lasting, and blend in seamlessly with your smile.
